Solo Traveling become more than just a trend and transformative journey. I have always been passionate about traveling alone, so I’ve explored vibrant cities whenever I have a chance. As a solo female traveler, it inspired and embraced the freedom of travel at my own pace by wandering through the buzzing street of
Singapore and exploring the culture and historic street of Washington D.C.

To tell the truth, every solo trip has shaped my confidence and love for the world, and also
the changes of my introvert style. Here’s my personal list of best solo travel destinations I’ve
explored and why they were worth every step alone.

Singapore – Safe, Stylish, and So Clean

Best for: First-time solo travelers, food lovers, shopping, and city photography.
Tip: The EZ-Link card is a solo traveler’s best friend for getting around on MRT and
buses.

Honestly, Singapore was my first solo international trip—and I couldn’t have chosen a better destination. It’s incredibly safe, efficient, accessible and easy to explore at my own pace. Moreover, I stayed at Fragrance Oasis, a budget hotel near Balestier Road, which has a lot of food shops and 7eleven. I even visited Orchard Road where I indulged in shopping and hawker food.

🌟 Why I Recommend Solo Travel for Women

Solo travel isn’t just about ticking off destinations—it’s a journey into your independence and self-discovery. I found myself again while traveling solo, but safety is very crucial. I’ve learned how to be street-smart, how to connect with people , confident, and deeply appreciative of different cultures. Each of these places taught me something new—from trusting locals in Cambodia to finding peace in Taiwan’s night trains.

If you’re a woman thinking of going on a solo trip—do it right now. Start with safer, well-connected countries like Singapore or Thailand, and then slowly move to larger cities like New York or more cultural destinations like Vietnam.
